NUESTRAS RAICES

Nuestras Raices is published quarterly by the Genealogical Society of Hispanic America. Content
for the Spring issue is due January 1; Summer issue, May 1; Fall issue, July 1; for the Winter
issue, October 1. Mail items for publication to: Journal Managing Editor, P.O. Box 3040,
Pueblo, CO 81005 or email: flora04@comcast.net. Nuestras Raices reserves copyright
to authors of signed articles. Permission to reprint a signed article should be obtained directly
from the author and Nuestras Raices should be acknowledged in the reprint. Unsigned material may be
reprinted without permission provided Nuestras Raices is given credit. All material submitted must
be accompanied by a written statement giving the Genealogical Society of Hispanic America (GSHA)
permission to publish the said material. Authors will be supplied with an Author's Warranty form
to complete and return. GSHA reserves the right to edit any and all material submitted for publication
and assumes no responsibility for factual errors, statements or opinions made by contributors. Proven
errors will be corrected in future issues. Nuestras Raices accepts articles, maps, drawings and
photographs on Hispano genealogy, history, culture and traditions. It is preferred that all articles
for publication be submitted on a 3-1/2 -disk, Macintosh, DOS or Windows compatible, accompanied by
a printed copy of the article using Geneva or Helvetica font, or equivalent (sans serif). Articles
may also be submitted via email. Handwritten articles are acceptable and will be formatted by GSHA
volunteers. If you have any questions about these instructions, please contact the managing editor.
No submitted material will be returned, so please do not send original articles or photographs. All
materials will be considered for publication by our editorial committee. If an article is rejected, we
will notify the contributor(s), but we will not return articles.

QUERIES/INFORMATION
Queries are free to members; non-members are charged $2.00 per query. Please include your name and
preferred method of contact: address, phone number, fax number, and email address. If requesting a
reply by mail, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

ADVERTISING POLICY
GSHA accepts advertising related to genealogy/history. Ads should be camera ready. Payment must be
postmarked thirty (30) days prior to month of publication. Rates Per Issue: 1/8 page $3.00; 1/4 page $6.00;
1/2 page $11.00; Full page $22.00

CHANGE OF ADDRESS
GSHA publications are mailed bulk rate. If you move and do not notify your local chapter and GSHA by
mail or email, your replacement issues will be mailed at the highest postal rate. Please send notice
of change of address to: Membership Chairman, GSHA, P.O. Box 3040, Pueblo, CO 81005.
